Reporter claims she was told not to talk to crowd at Michelle Obama event

Fox

A Milwaukee reporter is claiming that journalists covering first lady Michelle Obama’s speech at a campaign rally for Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke were told not to speak with the crowd at the event.

Meg Kissinger, a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, posted on Facebook that she was “creeped out” after she was told by a White House aide and an aide for Burke not to speak with people attending the Monday event.

“This is what reporters do in America: we speak to people,” she wrote. “At least that’s how I’ve been doing things — at all kinds of political events — since 1979.”

  1. This thugocracy is really stepping up the attempts at stopping free speech.
This, the FCC trying to ban the word, “Redskins” by broadcasters, etc.

Hoping more people wake up. Soon!

  2. No big deal. Reporters/journalists haven’t asked too many pertinent questions these past six years.
Which is why we are in the fix we’re in. “And the hungry sheep looked up and were not fed.”

  3. “It really creeped me out,” the reporter said, “but I’ll be voting for Burke in November! Liberalism! Yeah! Because it’s not the socialist system that takes away my rights it’s the good-intentioned liberals that are corrupted by…well, we’ll never know…that are the problem.”

  4. Oh yeah? If I were that reporter, I would have reminded the Moochette that I have a constitutional guarantee of free speech and if she didn’t like it, she could go suck an organic quail egg.
