Mystery drone invasion sparks ‘state of emergency’ in New Jersey with warning Iranian mothership lurks offshore

A mysterious drone invasion in New Jersey has sparked calls for a ‘state of emergency’ as officials suggested they are coming from an Iranian ‘mothership’ off the East Coast.

Republican Rep Jeff Van Drew said Wednesday that Iran launched the vessel ‘probably about a month ago’ after making a deal with China ‘to purchase drones, a mothership and other technologies.’

‘These drones should be shot down,’ he told FOX News, adding that ‘the military is on full alert with this.’

However, the Pentagon rushed to claim there is no evidence the drones are the work of an adversary and denied there’s an Iranian ‘mothership’ lurking off the coast. more

  1. First – they are out at night with bright lights. These things are intended to incite maximum concern and fright.
Two – if this is not a government operation, they know who is doing it and are doing nothing about it.
Third – Remember this is the same administration that let a Chinese spy balloon cruise across the entire United States unfettered.

  2. That is an outlandish statement by the congressman. Next he’ll be telling us that giant balloons full of spy gear from China are just floating over our country and collecting…….

    Well, that didn’t age well.

  3. The list of things the Pentagon doesn’t know is legendary. The list of things the Pentagon “knows” but wontyadmit to is probably lengthy as well. Being a government bureaucracy a shining example of how groups of smart individual people are pretty dumb.

  4. Not to worry, it’s just our Chinese neighbors mapping out WWIII targets, it will be over quick thanks to the precision mapping. The flash will blind you and the sonic blast will be deafening so you won’t see or hear people struggling on the ground or in the trees from the 2000 degree atomic heat wave. pa..zap all done, next up….

  5. John Keel, of “Mothman Prophecies” fame, wrote in the 60s about phantom helicopter formations being reported along the Eastern Seaboard. Maybe this is just an update on that sort of UFO trickery.

Keel espoused the theory that UFOs are not real in the sense that you can touch them, and they are malevolent, deceptive manifestations which will always be just out of reach, but also not a physical threat, only a mental distraction. I think that many governments, which fully understand how psyops work, have come to a similar conclusions after researching these phenomena, and that is why they do not respond to these things as we would wish. It’s pointless to chase a will o’ the wisp which cannot cause physical harm.

Having said that about these “drone formations”, I understand that the “Chinese Spy Balloon” was a real thing. But it is in a whole different dimension than these “drone formations”. In the case of those, I believe there is malevolence, or at the very least some sort of deception, behind them.

I am willing to bet $100,000 IOTW Rials that no physical evidence of these “drones” will ever be recovered, nor will their points of origin or destination ever be found. There may be some lame imitations down the line, much like “crop circle” phenomena, to muddy the waters, but these things will come and go unimpeded until they move on to another form and place, and no trace will ever be found.
