I agree and I think I have a solution, what do you think of this.
Make the point system favor the lowest points, ie: you get one point for first place and two for second, etc. That would force them to actually race instead of just boring us until the last 30 or so laps.

@I am evil – that is a really good idea. the whole field races the entire race instead of some just driving around in the back, then sprinting to the front late PLUS it gives the drivers a chance to eliminate themselves with wrecks throughout the race thus making the field smaller late in the race where the survivors race to the finish. Great Idea !
