National Guard Soldier Is First Woman To Graduate From Army Sniper Course

KEIB: A female soldier with the Montana Army National Guard has become the first woman to successfully complete the U.S. Army Sniper Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. The unidentified soldier enlisted in December 2020 and was sent to Fort Benning to complete her 22-week Infantry One Station Unit Training.

Her impressive performance caught the eyes of her superior officers, and they recommend that she participate in the Army’s grueling seven-week sniper course. The course not only tests a soldier’s marksmanship skill with various rifles, but it also teaches them “fieldcraft skills, advanced camouflage techniques, concealed movement, target detection, range estimation, and terrain utilization.” read more

  1. Given the certain set of skills that one must master to graduate, none of which is particularly physical in nature, we should not dismiss this accomplishment as just another affirmative action hire. I hope it is legit, well done missy.

  2. This is merely the first? What a surprise. If Hollywood have taught me anything, females are a significant minority in the sniping proffession .. and they’re just as deadly

Think about “Full Metal Jacket” That sniper was female! And she sowed havoc with an AK47!! That not even a sniper weapon. And how about all those gorgeous female, Russkie snipers in “Enemy At The Gates” Those babes saved Stalingrad!!

And after a full day of blowing German head out, they were just as good in the sack with their male sniper comrades … So, cmon reality, Get with the DIE program
