[…] North Carolina legislators have introduced a bill which would require public universities in the state to leave the conference if there is yet another boycott of the state. That would mean the University of North Carolina as well as North Carolina State University would have to look for another conference to join. It would be most likely given geographic details that they would join the Big Ten or SEC conferences.

They *could* just not be in any conference, and self-identify as the champions of all tourneys. That should assuage the leftists, right?
