Nearly a Year Later, Only Two Reconstruction Permits Have Been Issued in Malibu, California

Gateway Pundit-

The wildfires that swept through southern California happened in January. That was ten months ago. Since then, in Malibu, which lost more than 700 structures in the fires, only two reconstruction permits have been issued. TWO.

What are the people who run California doing all day? How is this even possible?

We are reminded of the predictions by Adam Carolla after the fires. Pretty much everything he predicted is coming true.

  1. I have trouble believing that it’s only 2, but I do trust Adam Carolla. His home is just above PCH near Las Flores in Malibu, was surrounded by fire but I think his survived. So he is definitely an interested party, and he has access to people who would know.
My area of Sunset Mesa is Malibu Post Office but not part of the city. It was intentionally excluded in the 1990 vote, after we mostly voted against cityhood in 1976. It was a sewer thing. Anyway, from what my friends are saying there have been a fair number of house starts on Sunset Mesa. It’s a lot different though, simple flat lots in a neighborhood vs. beachfront or mountain lots.

  2. A bit off topic but…after Newscum stated he will do anything to keep the oil companies from leaving California, one just happens to blow up last night. Must not be enough land stolen from wildfire victims for low-income housing projects – they need THIS land too. Things that make you go HMMMMM.
