The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted new rules on May 22 to ban the participation of “bad labs” in the electronics testing process, targeting the Chinese communist regime’s involvement in particular.
The FCC also voted to create a way of identifying foreign ownership of entities, which would allow it to keep a list of foreign adversaries similar to the Pentagon or Commerce Department’s blacklist.
FCC Chair Brendan Carr said during the May 22 meeting that about 75 percent of electronics are tested by labs in China.
Cue video of Jensen Huang screaming like a little girl.
…now, if we can just get the FEC to ban Communist from certifying US ELECTIONS for the same reasons we may actually GET somewhere…
Wow. If you do any work for our Military you can’t use anything touched by the Chinese. In fact the country of origin has to be on the DFARS list. Now that I’m thinking about it I believe that DFARS list applies to all branches of our government. What the hell? Here’s the qualified list.

Chip forgery has been around for years, they are almost perfect and many companies have been duped buying them. Many times they have added features hidden within.
Chinese manufacturers have been forging type acceptance labels for completely untested devices for decades.
Or they submit a sample device for certification testing, gain approval, and delete the circuit components that allowed the device to pass testing from the production devices. Saves them from .20 to a couple of bucks per item. They think that just funny, and don’t care if it burns your house down.
