Last year I lost the Love of My Life and it stinks to be a widow. Have lived in NYC for all of my life. Am now a cranky old lady living in my dear old “Outer Borough” of Queens. I like my neighbors who’ve helped me through some rough patches. They also miss my Dearest Hubby and the thing I miss most about him other than having and holding him is that I really really miss waiting on him . He never complained about my lumpy mashed potatoes and of course I made him the best “sammiches.
As for whomever is elected mayor here I am putting my Trust in God. I’m too old to pull up stakes and move somewhere else (well, I might consider Suffolk County.)
