The campaign to recall California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom over his heavy-handed response to a coronavirus surge appears to be gaining momentum.
“The criticism of Newsom extends to the hypocrisy he showed when he violated his own guidelines to attend an indoor dinner party,” Fox News’ Trace Gallagher noted. “The governor [is] also accused of pandering to big business when he ordered many small businesses closed while allowing big box stores to stay open.” read more
If you are not upset with our elected leadership, you are not paying enough attention to them.
But if the recall is successful, who will they run in his place? That’s always the concern on a recall.
Large liberal cities should only be allowed to submit one vote in national elections to represent the collective view. This would allow the rest of the state to actually render the average viewpoint of the people living there instead of being controlled by a few insane politicians holding the state captive.
Line a mini electoral college.
The petition will be dismissed because the signers didn’t provide ID. We know how double standards work.
I signed it. Volunteers have worked their butts off here to set up signature booths around this county. We recalled Gray Davis, and we can recall Gruesome Newsom. I wonder what hair product he uses to grease down that well maintained hair of his. Only he gets the special treatments in this State – and the best restaurants to eat at (French Laundry), and $500 bottles of wine. I bet after he dines on the taxpayers dime and entertains pharmaceutical CEOs, he meanders over to his Aunt Piglosi’s mansion and licks down $45 pints of ice cream from her $20,000 refrigerator. RECALL HIS ASS! Every time he comes on the radio to speak, I shut his pie hole off!
Newsome isn’t worried. All he has to do is get some Dominion voting machines and he will stay in office despite any recall election. This asshat wants to be president and all he has to do to win is get the tech and social media giants to back him and, of course, the Dominion machines and he is in.
I no longer live in California but I can still vote there….can’t I?
I don’t think dems care about such trivial things.
