Politicians in trouble frequently wheel out the freebies ahead of a tough election.
California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom, however, is taking it to 11.
Seems, he’s not all that confident that Democrats will be able to rig him into victory to keep him in office in this year’s coming recall referendum on him. Internals must be horrible.
Which is why he’s now holding out monster goodie bag to angry voters as a last-ditch bribe to secure their votes. more
Recalls usually, as in almost always, fail.
Once in a while they succeed, but usually of some lesser politician and not a governor level one when they do.
Wonder if Newsom will prove an exception and actually be recalled?
The “experts” whoever they are, say he’ll survive. That’s why we need pitchforks and torches.
Why does CA even need to ‘roar back’ – uh because of all Newsom’s policies and nothing is roaring back given that list of gimmie’s does nothing to bring business and wealthy residents back to the state. But when your competition is a mentally ill man pretending to be a woman the bar is set pretty low.

I believe this country is in the present perilous position because too many people can easily be bought off.
If Newsom manages to hold on, the people in California deserve what is coming at them. Good, long & HARD. I have a cousin out in Long Beach, he describes himself as a “gay humanist”. Whatever that means. We lost touch years ago when he told all of us to basically go to hell. Fine with me. He does post shit on social media & it seems he would suck Newsom’s dick if given the chance. Apparently, Gavin is the one who is going to save us all from ourselves.
