OAN Newsroom
An inventor in Nigeria has made waves worldwide with his latest creation. Ibitoye Michael spent the last three years building a car entirely out of scrap metal, spare pieces and a 1.6 Volkswagen engine. The car has four gears and runs on petrol.
Michael claimed since he was a young boy, he’s always wanted to build the first car he would drive. His aunt said she had noticed Michael’s innovative tendencies when he was just a child. WATCH
I love that guy. lol!!!
We don’t get people like him in the visa lottery, no, we get Mustafa and his hijab covered wife and 14 1/2 kids. No skills, no job. Ugh.
Florida Man > Nigerian Man
It’s like a metallic Flintstone car.
That is what we will be driving in 20 years if the dems plans are implemented.
Can we make a deal with Nigeria and send him here and Ilhan Omar over there?
Great gig he’s got there, BUT he will get pulled over for NO break or back up lights… :>O
McPherson strut rear, double wishbone front. Wonder how he handled the braking system?
Is his English translated name Henry Ford by any chance?
andoneinthechamber, brakes? I don’t need no stinking brakes!
I think that guy built the last Ford I owned. Is he UAW?
Fabbing the car was the easy part – dealing with the keyboard peckers down at the DMV is where the nightmares begin.
“…I decided writing letters to people that I knew could support me,” Michael said.”
Ha! I still have one of the letters his father (the Nigerian prince) sent to me 30 years ago…
They’re good with planes https://youtu.be/0h_cqTCT5g0

When I was in college [year?—*crickets*] I decided to obtain a car for one of my good friends. In parts. I got as far as four hubcaps before I gave up.
If I put all that effort into building the chassis, I would have at least put a V8 into it, Roadkill style:

.
🎵I got it one piece at a time…🎵

Car sorta looks like an Ariel Atom.
Dirt track stock car prototype, been there – modified.
I give him props. VW so no drive shaft. Smaht. He’s got no electrical…but neither does my kids gokart.
One guy, no money, spare parts. Cool.
Cool! There used to be a great show on TV years ago called Junkyard Wars (Scrapheap Challenge in the UK) where contestants had a day to make some thing like that with only parts found in the junkyard.
He used to work at Tesla. Wanted to unionize.
This vehicle will be shipped anywhere in the world upon receipt of the buyer’s bank routing and account numbers, at which time, a one million bank draft made out to the buyer will be deposited in his account with the builder retaining just 25% for shipping and handling charges.
BUT WAIT!!!!
If you act now………
Sounds legit.
Keyboard peckers..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Big deal.
Chrysler has been doing it since the fuel crisis.
Still more reliable than a Fiat.
