No Viewership for ESPN’s New ‘Woke’ Morning Show

Breitbart: Ratings have continued to crumble for ESPN’s new morning show, Get Up! Despite the millions of dollars the network has poured into it, the show has seen a steadily declining audience for its first week on the air.

The show’s debut hit a dismal 283,000 viewers on its opening day on Monday, April 2. Even kid’s cartoon Peppa Pig beat Get Up! in the ratings game on Monday. However, ratings have continued to slide each day until Thursday’s ratings came in under 200,000 viewers, Outkick the Coverage reported.

After Monday’s 283,000 viewers, Get Up!’s second day on the air fell to 243,000 viewers. Next, day three gave ESPN’s new morning extravaganza about an even 200,000 viewers (while Peppa Pig earned 750,000 viewers).

Then came Thursday with 198,000 viewers

  1. I personally hate Peppa Pig, it always annoyed the crap out of me when I was a teen and my little brother sometimes watched it for a laugh, so to say that I too would watch THAT over ‘get up!’ is saying something.
(Also, get up sounds like a cheap viagra ad, just thought i’d mention.)

  2. I don’t watch ESPN so I don’t know what Get Up is and I don’t know what a Peppa Pig is. I’m not even curious enough to look either up. The only cartoon pig characters I know are Miss Piggy and Porky Pig.

  3. I cut the cord awhile back. I had to look a bit to find a streaming service that had all the channels i wanted and then *snip* no more $7 a month to ESPN, plus my overall bill went down $50

    Whoa, hold on there!
Peppa Pig is a stupid obnoxious cartoon from the UK about a little pig (Who is drawn in the most obscene art style… really), it might have melted a few of my brain cells, but it’s not worth killin.

And if you meant anything else then maybe I’m not speaking English.. because I’m not sure whom you’re referring to. 😮

  5. Moving or visiting? The heat gets to you in the Phoenix area, and it doesn’t cool down at night. Prescott highs aren’t too bad and the nights cool down nicely

  6. I guess the former ESPN viewers who stated they would never go back to the ‘sports’ network stood by their word. The viewers’ disregard for this stillborn attempt at drawing in viewers in the morning is just another example of how fed up with Leftist Sports reporting the sports fan of America really are at this point in time.
