Free Republic:
New legislation would mandate that the State of North Dakota ignore executive orders coming from the Biden administration that are unconstitutional
Republican legislators in North Dakota are taking a pro-active – and constitutional – step to push back against unconstitutional executive orders coming out of the Biden administration, and they are doing so with the power of the US Constitution in their corner.
A new bill introduced in the North Dakota State Legislature (HB1164), would instruct the state’s Attorney General to review the constitutionality of each of the executive orders issued by Joe Biden.
Under the proposed law, should the North Dakota Attorney General find that any executive orders are unlawful – or unconstitutional, the executive order would be “nullified,” it would prohibit any state, county, or local agency – or publicly funded organization – from enforcing the order(s).
The proposed legislation was introduced by State Rep. Tom Kading (R), and eight other Republicans in the North Dakota House.
Specifically, the proposed HB1164, enumerates the following issues for nullification:
- The regulation of natural resources, including coal and oil
- The regulation of the agriculture industry
- The use of land
- The regulation of the financial sector as it relates to environmental, social, or governance standards
- The regulation of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms
Additionally, State Rep. Sebastian Ertelt (R), has introduced legislation that would affect the same fate to unconstitutional legislation coming out of the Federal Legislative Branch. more
No Dakkers are common sense patriots and know a fraudulent poser when they see one. God bless North Dakota!
Good on you North Dakota. At least some states will not put up with the bullshit coming out of the White House.
Excellent North Dakota! Some lucky states have leaders with good sense.
Lets hope this type of push-back gets popular all over the middle states. If it does, conservatives will have the muscle to start to change the current miserable conditions we face. After that, a lot of good scenarios may arise form our country.
This only works until the supreme court rules otherwise or the feds withhold money from the states that try it. then they will fold like a cheap chair. “Legal” means to thwart the cabal won’t work, as they control the “legal” processes.
This is being proposed in SD also. We will see if Noem stands tall or buckles under rino pressure.
The SD bill was proposed the day before ND bill but of course SD gets second billing, sigh.

Here in Cal, we are governed by wackos and pervs. ND has about 700K inhabitants and Cal had 35 million, but they have good leaders and we have stinkers.
I just signed the recall notice to get Nuisance out of here.
A great example for us all. Thank you, North Dakota.
Now, let us follow their lead.

Then North Dakota withholds all federal taxes to be paid by residents.
It goes both ways.
It is time to make their side suffer and try to defend themselves.
Lawsuit after lawsuit over everything.
Also, six other state Attoneys General, led by WV, have also stepped in. See:

Resident Biden has no authority to issue executive orders, sign legislation nor act as commander in chief. He was not elected to the office of president. He is an usurper. The real president is Donald J. Trump.
Hoping Nebraska will follow your lead! Great job North Dakota!
About time one of the State’s used their Constitutional power, States’ rights, and oppose these dumbass executive orders being shoved off Biden’s desk like an assembly line. He doesn’t even know what he’s signing; Harris et al. are writing them for him to sign. Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer and the radical, progressive Liberals, social media billionaires, big Tech, and Wall Street are going to cause a civil war in this Country–Liberals against Conservatives.
