The attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pa., one year ago this month was fake, according to Washington Post readers. Worse, the paper is trying to protect its crazed readers by hiding their comments.
Comments to a Post story, excerpting a juicy new book about how Democrats knew all along that Joe Biden was a terrible candidate and couldn’t win the 2024 election, revealed just how untethered to reality this bunch really is. It’s as if they’d read the Washington Post and come away believing President Donald Trump was Hitler and couldn’t be believed or something.
These TDS-afflicted readers will be startled to learn for the first time that one congressional rep texted with his colleagues during a Zoom meeting with “a mumbl[ing] and rambl[ing],” and “sometimes incoherent” Biden that the president’s behavior in this meeting was “'[W]orse than the debate,'” the Post belatedly divulged. more
Remembering when the Washington Post was a top-notch newspaper with well-deserved respect makes me feel really, really old.

The WaPo has never in my lifetime been respected. They had NixonDS in the 50s. Remember when Nixon lost the Gov’s race in CA and said, “You won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore.”?? He was referring to the WAPO.
When Bernstein & Woodward saw an oppo to blow up a 3rd rate B&E at The Watergate into coverup & treason by Nixon, they used the POS WaPo to hammer the President forcing him to resign just a couple years after he was reelected in the biggest presidential landslide in our history.
If you’re referring to a time before Nixon got into politics, than man Uncle Al, you are old. Maybe they were actually patriotic in WW11 but I don’t know that.
WaPo and NYT are what Mr. Twain meant when he said “If you don’t read the newspapers, you’re uninformed. If you do read the newspaper you’re misinformed.”

If you remember back to late 2019 and early 2020 I was posting here that the legacy media is shutting down reader comments in almost every paper in every decent size market in the country. It was obvious the Progressive/Marxist/Satanists were coordinating with the media preparing the environment for a major offensive against the American people. The justification was so contrived that it was ludicrous and it was also copy pasted by each paper from the prepared talking points they had focus grouped.
