CNS: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill on Monday making it legal to give illegal aliens driver’s licenses.
However, some New York county clerks are refusing to comply with the law, which takes effect in about 180 days, the Blaze reports.
Rensselaer County Clerk Frank Merola told WRGB-TV on June 5th that he won’t issue driver’s licenses illegal immigrants that come into his office.
“I’m going to refuse to issue a driver’s license to anyone who comes into my office that can’t prove to us they’re here legally. Federal law states we’re not allowed to aid someone who comes into our office who is here illegally,” Merola said.

New Yawk State has become one of those states of political extremes. The left and democrats live in the major cities and then there is the rest of us that want to be left the fuck alone. Look at the Astorino / Cuomo election map.
These clerks have the Federal law on their side, if these licenses are meant to help people get ‘to work’ that in of itself is the Federal crime. Can’t do that.
At this rate? Like other states, I think there will be an Upper and Lower New York, hmmm, 25 years? Illinois one and Cali many another?
What is being done here is revolting.

If an illegal can get a driver’s license without the same documentation required of legal citizens, we need to demand equal rights.

True story today…I let my driver’s license expire. It was a CDL which I don’t care about anymore. I was told to bring a SS card, proof of residence and my old license in plus a birth certificate. I have to go to a full service DMV which is 40-50 miles away….don’t get me started on the birth certificate thingy. One side of my family traces their heritage back before the American revolution, the second side came here before the civil war and the third side came here in 1898….I can’t find my birth certificate so I ordered another. 3-5 days to get here…
Now, I really need someone to tell me why we have 40-50 million illegals here and how they can drive and vote…fuck sticks!…and oh yeah, I’ve had a drivers license for 47 years…
