Daily Wire: Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean, whose profile grew exponentially in 2020 as she repeatedly blasted Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo after her in-laws died in New York nursing homes, is hearing calls for her to run against Cuomo in 2022 — and she’s leaving the door open, saying, “You never say never in this life, right? And many people have gotten into government because something personal has happened to them.”
Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, a close friend, was delighted with the idea of Dean running, noting that Dean, 50, has weathered home invasion, sexual harassment, and multiple sclerosis. Kelly told the New York Post, “Unlike the poser currently in the governor’s mansion, she really IS ‘New York tough,’ whip smart, and we can trust her. She’s got my vote.”
New York GOP Republican Party chairman Nick Langworthy said, “Someone like Janice Dean would be an absolute nightmare for Andrew Cuomo. She’s intelligent, accomplished, has a national profile and she’s fearless. We will be conducting a widespread search to select the best candidate to take him on and Janice would unquestionably be a welcome addition.” more

Ms. Dean would make a wonderful Governor. Sadly the over the top liberals in NY would not vote for her. I had always enjoyed her when I used to watch Fox News. She is intelligent, nice, and funny. Most New Yawkers don’t deserve her.
Cuomo and his democrat pals are Traitors of America. Long past time to throw them out along with their voters, who rank as Traitors as well. These Traitors don’t like what America was and just want to erase it from history.
I can’t see anyone that isn’t some kind of political Cuomo clone getting elected in New York.

Two years – hell, two days – of democrat rule in dc, will expose the d’s for the communist totalitarians they really are. Even New York voters will be crying out for a conservative Governor (assuming Dean is conservative).

I hope you’re right, but I doubt it. The Leftists support Leftist causes and candidates no matter what is happening to them and are unlikely to change (IMO) and there are far more of them than conservatives in New York.
We’ll know for sure in two years so keep an eye on it.
NO. Leave New York in democrat hands. Pain is the only method of educating liberals. The longer democrats suffer the faster they will learn. Janice Dean will only be a speed bump. All of New York’s power, money, and influence is allied against her. Better to let New York suffer a slow, miserable, and painful death under communism.
