DC: The New York City Council passed a resolution Wednesday calling on the federal government to abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which enforces the nation’s immigration laws.
Democratic Councilwoman Helen Rosenthal sponsored the resolution, which passed in a voice vote.
“ICE, under the direction of President [Donald] Trump, has demonstrated an inability to fulfil [sic] its duties without violating due process, human rights, transparency, public accountability, or an adherence to domestic and international law,” the resolution states.
America “does not need an opaque and rogue agency operating in our communities, dehumanizing our neighbors, and acting without consequence,” the resolution adds.
The Democratic Party’s left-wing base has been pushing its elected officials to join the “abolish ICE” movement, which remains unpopular with the rest of the country. read more
Why stop at banning ICE? The NYPD and the State Police are just as bad as ICE and just as “unfit” to serve the community. Now is the time to do it while the mayor and most of the NYC Council are communists. Let the dindunuffins take charge. Matter of fact, the City Council is full of dindunuffins right now. The Federal Government should stop any Federal agencies from working in NYC for any purpose. Stopping foreign criminals living in NYC from harming actual US citizens or moving to other areas to commit crimes is a protection citizens are entitled to from the Federal Government that they pay taxes to. Its apparent that NYC politicians don’t believe its important to protect its citizens, actual laws or parts of the US Constitution it doesn’t like.
Believe me guys, Law Enforcement Agencies in NYC are raging. Morale is low. BUT. The only thing they are interested in now is overtime. They welcome the scumbag riots and demonstrations because they don’t have to do jack shit except watch. OT Baby! Momma needs a new sofa.
