Three months after Hillary Clinton’s stunning election loss to Donald Trump, her family foundation is facing vexing questions about its ability to exist.
“The foundation is still grappling with its place in the era of President Trump,” the New York Times reports. “It faces some daunting challenges: a drop in fund-raising during the campaign; uncertainty about the scale of the former president’s ambitions; and questions about leadership, including how long its president, Donna E. Shalala, will stay, and whether Mrs. Clinton might rejoin the charity.”
Shalala didn’t shy away from the foundation’s fledgling philanthropic status.
“Last year was a tough year,” she told the Times, “because people were beating on us with nonsense,” referencing the media reports of corruption between Clinton Foundation donors, the six-figure speeches given by Bill Clinton, and the corresponding actions approved by the U.S. State Department while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state.
Indeed, mere weeks after Hillary Clinton lost the election, financial disclosure forms revealed that the Clinton Foundation’s donations had plummeted by 37 percent. Reports earlier this month about the foundation laying off 20-something staffers has ballooned to “about 100,” the Times reports.
Since the CGI was all about selling US policy for massive dollar donations to funds the Clintons used to live a lavish lifestyle, the CGI has no product to market.
It doesn’t mention how much is in the bank account. I’m guessing that while income is plummeting the balance is still hefty.
No amount of money is enough for any of the Clintons. It’s always gimme more more more. Don’t forget all the expensive gifts they’ve been given — or stolen outright.
She’ll need all the cash she can get to bribe guards for conjugal visits from Huma.
What have the Clintons to sell, now?
Access to pervert parties doesn’t cost $Millions, even in NYC (I’d imagine).
Epstein’s Island getaway? Don’t need to go through the extortionate Clinton Foundation for that!
They may still have some pluck in the State Dept., but I doubt it; Tillerson will probably clean out that source of stench with particular gusto.

I was raised a Baptist and they misunderstood the reference. Forgivable, as we had no camels.
@lowell – wasn’t that a referral to a very narrow gate? In order to get a camel through the gate it could not carry any cargo.

What a shame to see a charitable foundation struggle like that. It was so successful too…for the Clinton’s bottom line.

History is going to repeat itself. The feds are going to put the pressure on one of them and they’ll reinstitute the CLINTON LEGAL DEFENSE FUND. Hundreds of millions of dollars will suddenly appear. Clintons know where all the skeletons are buried. They could make life rough for a lot of rich and sleazy criminals.
Why are they not in prison yet?
