NYTimes: World’s nations building huge numbers of new coal plants despite emissions growth

WUWT: A recent article discussed at Watts Up With That? exposed that many of the world’s largest CO2 emitting nations are proceeding with energy policies involving the building of huge numbers of new coal plants without regard to increasing CO2 emissions completely contradicting the aims of the Paris Climate Agreement.

These nations actions clearly show the Paris Climate Agreement is meaningless in addressing global emissions and that President Trump was very wise to reject it’s oppressive provisions that were imposed on the U.S.

Supporting the story of huge new coal plant building plans by many global nations as revealed in the WUWT article is an article in the climate alarmist scheming New York Times which was forced to admit that plans are underway around the world to build over 1,600 new coal plants in the next decade with nearly half of those plants being built by Chinese Companies.  more here

  1. It seems that burning coal, that is more abundant than oil, is a wise choice in order to keep oil flowing longer in the future. That is if peek energy is a real thing and proven oil/coal reserves are at least somewhat accurate. There should be a provision somewhere that says all wind and solar devices be built with as much coal energy as possible to stop wasting our oil.

Either way, just tell a prog that avgas still contains tetraethyllead. Give him something else to protest for the week.

  2. China, was never Intending to contribute anything toward The Initiative.
They Knew it Would be Money thrown Away, and if called on it they would have shown their own Data Disproving Global Warming !
For the Undeveloped Nations , What did they Expect them to make Gold from Water ?

  3. I’ll wait to learn if Al Gore, noted climateologist and BSer, has a stroke, The thought of refunding all his ill gotten gains. He might have to live on a federal pension.

  4. It’d be a win win to keep all the coal here in the US. That way all the libtards here in Spokane who are so upset every time a coal train passes thru on it’s way to the W. coast to be shipped to China might actually quit their carping about it but probably not. Why are all the so called progressive the least progressive out there? They’re nothing but a bunch of Chicken littles and friggin Luddites.
