Obama-Appointed IG Resigns After Probe Finds Her Guilty Of Abusive Misconduct

conservative Brief:
The inspector general in charge of the Federal Housing Finance Agency resigned this week, two months after a damning report alleged that not only did she abuse her authority, she also retaliated against employees and blocked an investigation into her conduct.

In April, an investigation conducted by a special panel called the Integrity Committee sent a scathing report to the Biden White House about Laura Wertheimer, who was picked for the position of inspector general of the FHFA by former President Barack Obama in 2014.

The report detailed years of complaints against Wertheimer and other staff members with the conclusion that “misconduct of this nature warrants consideration of substantial disciplinary action, up to and including removal.”

Reports of Wertheimer’s behavior follow an explosive report about Vice President Kamala Harris’ office, which is reportedly rife with abuse.

According to the Washington Post, the report found that Wertheimer “showed a disdain and resistance” toward any attempts to control her behavior by Congress and the Integrity Committee and that she fostered “a culture of witness intimidation through a pattern of staff abuse and fear of retaliation.” more

  4. “With the departure of Director Calabria, I believe President Biden should have the opportunity to fill both the FHFA Director and IG positions with his own nominees. For that reason, I am writing to let you know that I have made the decision to leave this position, effective July 30, 2021,” Wertheimer wrote in her letter of resignation.

July 30? Why– so she has plenty of time to unleash her “abusive misconduct” on more employees? And she’s not fooling anyone with that resignation letter.

  5. “It’s almost like these people in government exists to make other people’s lives miserable.”

I think the opportunity to do such evil is why they seek positions of power in the first place. I’ve heard that very thing from my last GF’s youngest daughter.

She would like to get elected so she can make everyone do what she says. Not quoting literally in words, but literal in thrust of what she said. The perceived power over others was the only draw. Nothing else.

Just like pedophiles put themselves in positions to be around children as much as possible. They’re always pushing for their passion.

Conservatives conserve in every way. Like, “I don’t care what you want to do. Just leave me alone, and let me do my thing, and we’ll be good.”

It is both one of our strengths and one of our weaknesses.

We are fundamentally, opposingly, different than them. WE know they are the ones that need to wake up and smell the roses.

They ain’t right in the head.
