…no, this is more stage-setting. Next comes frustration that Democrats don’t get it together before the Convention, then Barky starts hinting that tge “wife” could beat them all, followed by a floor nomination that Mooch will refuse a couple of times; then, the acclimation getting more strident at each refusal (per script), “she” will reluctantly accept “because the Nation is calling her to save it”.
This is all standard Messiah stuff. Shakespeare covers this in “Julius Caesar”, Frank Herbert in “Dune”, Adolf Hitler in WWII…we’ve been here before. They have to PRETEND reluctance or the illusion doesn’t work.
It explains why ‘she’ skipped the primaries, why ‘she’ didn’t have to articulate any positions beyond hating Trump, lets ‘her’ not have any embarrassing votes like Hillary had, etc., AND brings most Black voters and many woman voters back into the fold, along with cementing the gay and trans votes.
