WaEx- A new report certain to spur quicker GOP action to kill Obamacare finds that it has crushed small businesses forced to participate and robbed employees of $19 billion in wages in 2015.
What’s more, the American Action Forum analysis found that Affordable Care Act regulations have cost 295,030 jobs and killed 10,130 small businesses that year.
A similar report on Obamacare’s regulatory impact in 2014 put the price at $22 billion in lost wages.
Based on federal data, the report said, “We found that since the ACA became law, among small businesses, the rise in premiums has been associated with $19 billion in lost wages, 10,130 fewer business establishments, and nearly 300,000 lost jobs, with seven states losing more than 10,000 jobs, all results consistent with our previous research. Given the premium spikes in some states, 17 percent to 47 percent, it is not difficult to understand how the labor market reacts to the significant increase in health care costs. In fact, regulators predicted many of these increases when they first implemented the law.” more here
YEP!! 60% APPROVAL!! DNC MATH!!
Osama bin Laden only dreamed of damaging America as much as Barack Hussein obama has. But, as with all muzzie plans the damage is temporary because we’re smarter and stronger than those goat fuckers will ever be.
Fuck islam and its sick fuck worshippers.
Wait a dang minute. 300,00 jobs and 19 BILLION in payroll?
Obamacare had of had a bigger impact than 300,000 jobs. the 19 Billion is probably a low figure.
A legacy that needs to be wiped out ASAP.
self-explanatory

There’s yer wealth re-distribution in action!
We know about how much it grabbed, the real question is where did it go cuz it sure as Hell didn’t go for improved care!!
@rat fink
There you go demanding accountability again.
20 trillion in debt and nothing to show
All part of the democRat “Weaken America any way possible” agenda.
God. Vengeance is Yours.
Just sayin’.
Lowest unemployment below 5% – your either wrong or those jobs did not hurt the economy. I am more concerned about the 50,000 people per the CDC each year that will die if the ACA is repealed. How much is a life worth?
Sumbody’s swallowed the party line hook, line and receiver!
Effects on Premiums if ObamaCare Repealed. “The CBO said that 18 million people would lose insurance in the first year and that as many as 32 million could be uninsured by 2026. The nonpartisan agency — which provides cost estimates for legislation — also said that premiums for marketplace policies would increase 20% to 25% in the first year and double within 10 years.
Because the ONLY thing you know about ObamaCare (the ACA) is that you hate it:
Let me help you understand something… first ALL policies in the USA are ObamaCare or ACA compliant (with few private exceptions – religious groups etc). The ObamaCare or the ACA is NOT insurance. No one “bought into ObamaCare”, they bought into private healthcare insurance offered through exchanges CREATED by the ACA for people WHO DID NOT HAVE ACCESS through their employer or chose not to use the employers plan. Medicaid expansion helped people who live in poverty and they are assisted in their access to healthcare. You agree with that, right?
If ObamaCare or the ACA is repealed, insurance rates go up 20-25%:

The ACA effects all of us and its important to understand what it is (and its NOT insurance). Insurance prices are going up due to the baby boomers getting older and costing the healthcare system more with fewer doctors (Supply and demand). There is no stopping that. If the capitalistic for profit insurance company cant make enough money charging us 2.7 times the Industrialized World Cost for healthcare, we need to look at how EVERY OTHER NATION IN THE WORLD PROVIDES HEALTHCARE. I dont want to back to cheap policies that state “this policy is cancelled when you are sick”. This was what we had before. THINK ABOUT IT!!
Additionally, the healthcare system, like life insurance, charges more each year for your personal coverage due to you being another year older and a higher risk. This is what privatized for profit insurance looks like and what we insist on in America. This is what Americans say they want. Your personal rate is never going down. But the good news is that the ACA has reduced the increase to only 5% compared to 14% annual increase before the ACA. Healthcare costs have been increasing steadily for over 50 years. Repealing the ACA is NOT going to lower your healthcare and will remove rights you need as you depend more on your insurance.
Insurance premiums costs vary only on the basis of age, tobacco use, and geographic location – not by being sick as it was before the ACA.
The ACA protects your rights so you actually get coverage when you need it. ALL HEALTHCARE INSURANCE POLICIES, in the USA including the one you have right now, is ACA compliant. You are benefiting right now from the ACA. So here is what the ACA is, here are 13 important rights and reasons you WANT THE ACA. No one who was against the ACA could answer what it even was, no one knew what it provides and why you need it. As you read these, think about how it was before when these caused bankruptcy and death because the policy you owned did not meet these requirements:
How the health care law protects you:
1) Requires insurance plans to cover people with pre-existing health conditions, including pregnancy, without charging more
2) Provides free preventive care – annual physical and labwork to know your health issues for early prevention
3) Gives young adults more coverage options – coverage to age 26 on parents plan
4) Ends lifetime and yearly dollar limits on coverage of essential health benefits (pre-ACA half of policies limited coverage to $100k and coverage stopped right when you needed it most)
5) Helps you understand the coverage you’re getting and enforces claim acceptance on valid claims
6) Holds insurance companies accountable for rate increases
7) Makes it illegal for health insurance companies to cancel your health insurance just because you get sick
8) Protects your choice of doctors
9) Protects you from employer retaliation
10) Breastfeeding rights, supports Birth control methods and counseling
11) Mental health and substance abuse services are covered (often excluded pre-ACA)
12) The right to choose an individual Marketplace plan rather than the one your employer offers you
13) Annual out of pocket maximum limited to $13K (previous to the ACA there was no limit and you could go medically bankrupt)
MANY MORE….
The ACA reduces the death rate, which was 50,000 pre-ACA annually per the CDC directly due to no insurance, and reduces medical bankruptcies which was near a million (or 62% of all American bankruptcies) pre-ACA annually per Harvard University. Please tell me, which of these ACA rights you no longer want. How wonderful to know that these protections are there for you when you need it! No one plans to get sick or injured, but when you do you need coverage you can trust and that’s all the ACA is! The ACA provides protections for the insurance plan you have today! No more getting dropped when you get sick!
Washington and BA. What gives you the right to take something from your neighbor? Say you get sick. Say you drive a cheap car and rent your home. Say your neighbor has done better. He has investments. He has nice cars. He owns his home. What gives you the right to take his stuff?
anyone who thinks that obamacare has been a success and that there isn’t a better plan for replacement is a fool
The only thing wrong with the ACA or Obamacare is that it is REQUIRED by GOVERNMENT that you have an ACCEPTED form of RATIONED and overpriced coverage or you are “TAXED” (fined) heavily for failing to comply! … Sure some get it “FREE” and some pay a little more … the asshat arguments of “YOUR FAIR SHARE” … you booger eating useless child minded useful idiots.
Mandated government anything is like beating you head against the wall: It feels good when you stop. Screw mandated any-dang-thing issued by a collective run by and decided upon by a board of dipsticks that have no ‘skin in the game’. WAKE UP!!
Some have posted here the horrors of this or that if you take the ticket away … without ever exploring what is on the other side of the currently closed door.
You can take your mandate and shove it up your collective communistic common good fart nozzle and go eat a big bag of rat penises, I WILL NOT COMPLY EVER!!
Well lookey lookey. Communist trolls. Makes sense a few of the rats would end up here while fleeing the sinking ship. Somebody call that Steven Tucker guy.
“Because the ONLY thing you know about ObamaCare (the ACA) is that you hate it:”
Let’s start with this model abondonds all principle of free market competition. Which is why the costs are spiraling out of control. Secondly, health insurance has nothing to do with quality health care. Infact Obamacare hurts that aspect dramatically. You are indoceranated. Kindly fuck off.
Brad- They won’t be back. They’re paid to go from site to site and drop their phony bullshit- same as they did we they first started 0bamacare, remember? They’re panicking now. Just enjoy it. The unemployment’s 5 %!!!111!! one really cracked me up. 😀
“insurance will go higher than 28 %” HAHAHAHAHA.
It went 600% higher under 0bamacare.
Oh lawd. thanks for the laughs, though.
MJA, OK, I’m breathing normal again. Thanks
MJA, all the same, you got any addresses for these cxck suckers. I’m feeling kinda midevil.
I’m enjoying watching the left melt down.
Best entertainment in years.
Facts versus Democratic talking points is like Godzilla v. Bambi.
The desperation to save Zerocare is clear. As I click on different iotwr stories, some pages have up to 3 sidebar adverts urging me to call my senators and save Zerocare. Good grief – NO.
