Ocasio-Cortez: Pelosi giving me busy work, might be trying to keep me out of the way

FOX:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez D-N.Y., wondered if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is purposely assigning her busy work, in an effort to discourage her outward dissent and keep her away from the public eye.

Ocasio-Cortez made the comments during a Tuesday interview with The New Yorker Radio Hour and said she was given strenuous committee assignments and said she often thinks about whether or not doing so was a calculated move by Pelosi.

“I was assigned to two of some of the busiest committees and four subcommittees,” AOC said. “So my hands are full. And sometimes I wonder if they’re trying to keep me busy.” more

  1. News flash- your not tending bars anymore. Your new job is nothing but busy work.

Maybe you should really rethink this whole think and crawl back to the bar you came from. Just a suggestion.

  2. They were off all last week.
And the week before that they practiced their stupid baseball.
Meanwhile I worked my ass off both weeks, except on the Fourth.

  3. I’ve heard that frisbee joke a dozen times over the years, and I still laugh.

Busy Work? Ha, AOC couldn’t pull lint out of her belly button without instructions. Pelosi owes the committee heads big time for babysitting this child.

  4. NYC 14th, you have a problem, and now it’s our problem. Please, please, please elect somebody who is mentally stable, reasonably informed and not addicted to social media.

Nancy, your daughter said you could slice somebody’s head off and they wouldn’t know it. Now would be a good time for a demo.

  5. Hey sweetie, you are getting paid $174,000 for that “busy work” which is a hell of a lot more than I make and I have to show up everyday! You also get money for your offices and your staff. You people get more time off than the actual taxpayers out here paying you.

So instead of shooting your big mouth off why don’t you actually do your job and earn some of that respect your think you deserve.
