Ohio Gov. DeWine will sign bill supporting armed teachers in schools

Ohio Republican Gov. Mike DeWine is set to approve a bill allowing public schools to arm their faculty following the legislation’s approval by the state’s legislature.

The bill would require public school employees to spend an initial 24 hours in training before being allowed to carry firearms on the premises. They would then need an additional 8 hours annually to keep their permits valid, per the Associated Press.

DeWine highlighted that the faculty trainings will include scenario specific instruction, according to the outlet. more

The only problem I see with the prospect of arming teachers (I’m for it !), or anyone else, is how will “authorities” be able to tell how many shootings this program stopped…After a while dedicated leftists will claim it hasn’t solved anything and it was just conservative pro-gun propaganda….and the beat goes on….

  2. Bring back gun education and then arm the kids who graduate the course. Start in elementary school.

    We might as well ‘arm’ our children for their future life in this 3rd world biden/obamination/clinton country, after they finish selling it off.
