Wa Ex: Ohio plans to give away $5 million, sourced from federal coronavirus relief funds, for a COVID-19 vaccine lottery contest, Gov. Mike DeWine announced on Wednesday.
Starting in two weeks, on every Wednesday for five weeks, the state will give away $1 million dollars to one resident who received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine, the Republican said in a speech.
“The Ohio Department of Health will be the sponsoring agency for the drawings, and the Ohio Lottery will conduct them,” DeWine said. “The money will come from existing federal Coronavirus Relief Funds.”

I knew they were going to give them to teens and it apparently starts today as it was on the local news that you could now sign your teens up for their shot. What kind of parent plays Russian roulette with their child’s life for a virus that there is a 99.999% chance even if they caught it would have nothing worse than a runny nose.

Ohio is very, very purple because of the major cities and especially the NW corridor that belongs entirely tu unions that serve Detroit. There has never been a Republican governor here in my lifetime, just Democrat and Democrat Lite, and he’s in that mould.
