Something tells me we aren’t getting the whole story here.
I had always been a full eyes on and a stay home mom. Did all things right, so I thought. Our daughter was in the house playing with her little friend while I was canning, and I asked if brother was okay playing with them.
Not here she replied. I looked out the window as I was going to look for him in his room, and there he was, running across the back yard as fast as his little two year old legs could take him.
We then put sliding latches at the top of all the doors.
Kids can be fast and stealth.
I’ve been in the gutter before. It ain’t so bad.
The one thing that bothers me is the ‘open window’. It hasn’t been very warm here. 45 today and colder with wind yesterday. Who leaves their windows open in the cold?
I’m glad the baby was caught.
Yup, kid is 8 now and none of that shit occurred.
