Oklahoma is OK!
Sends a message. The message is “Back off”.
Hell, most of us have been doing that on our own….
States Rights vs a thief. No contest.
States rights are alive and well and living in Oklahoma!
Why should anyone obey orders issued by someone who is NOT the President?
The problem is that democrat controlled states, just accept anything a biden executive order demands. The people in those states have no representation to protect the US Constitution and themselves from attacks by the left. All ex orders should automatically be presented to the SCOTUS.
just wait until John Roberts hears about this!
Every red state needs to follow suit. In fact each red state should follow suit by filing suit.
Sue this senile pervert into oblivion.
Be willing to nullify Congress, as well.
For those of you keeping track, the beautiful and brilliant constitution loving governor of SD, Mrs. Noem, will be signing into law the same bill to reject unconstitutional executive orders shortly. It has been passed by the house and on its way to confirmation in the senate
they are house bill 1194 and sb 122
@Deplorable Second Class., you’re still free to move to a state like SD. My neighbors house is for sale.
Gotta start thinking about retirement in a few years – OK just moved to near top of the list! 😎
I’m not much of a fan of politicians, but I will say I’m pretty impressed with our legislature so far this year, this is only one of many bills they’re trying to get passed, 2nd amendment sanctuary state, other pro-gun laws for the state, pro property rights, pro rights for us in general in regards to mask mandates, vaccine mandates by the government and employers(some businesses were starting to rattle the cages mandating vaccine or your job), bill if you block the road protesting then drivers can’t be prosecuted if they run your ass over. Pro parent by introducing a law that allows parents to recall school board members, this one is being fought tooth and nail by the schools and unions.
Executive orders meant for federal agencies under the control of the executive are one thing, executive orders that tell states what to do are obviously a violation of the constitutional right of states to a republican form of government.
We have a provision of our State constitution here in Georgia that is not widely known. And the State and the Courts do not advertise this. If you are seated as a Superior Court juror, you are charged by our law with not only judging the facts of the case, but also the law cited as have being violated.
If you think about why juries were codified in this country this makes perfect sense. The jury is the protection of the citizen from the power of the state. If the law is unjust, a violation of that law is not a crime.
If you make mention you are aware of this aspect of our State constitution during jury selection you WILL be dismissed. Funny how that works. Almost like they don’t trust us.
