Affluent Democrats have a pattern: They despoil a state with their policies and then, surveying the ruins around them (usually unaffordable housing and high crime), they move on to a safe, affordable Republican enclave. However, having failed to recognize that they were responsible for the destruction of their former home, they use their growing political heft to repeat the same policies in their new location. If you doubt me, just think of what Californians migrating to Colorado achieved.
Most recently, Californians, faced with an increasingly uninhabitable state, are setting their sights on Oklahoma, which is actually incentivizing their moves for economic reasons. It appears, however, that Oklahoma is simultaneously trying to implement policies that will protect the state (one with solid, all-American conservative values) from the coming California plague. I am sure there are other places that wish they had done this.
A couple bullet points, as a California Conservative one of the last places I’d want to move is Oklahoma. Second of all how many of us do you think they’re actually are? You’re plum out of Californians to blame for your problems. Third of all because you moved to California three months ago from Washington State or New York does not make you a Californian. To solve the problem you must first correctly identify the problem. Oklahoma has failed at that.
Now for some good news. Monday thru Friday I carry a Glock. On travel or the week ends I carry a 1911 commander in a Tucker holster. Deep in the heart of Texas. The guys an artist. Yea. The Californians fleeing California are business owners and Conservative with some dollars. Oklahoma big mouth politicians would suck their pickle to get them to move there. I say fuck off.

It’s a reverse migration of Californians to Oklahoma like the Okies fleeing the dust bowl in the 30’s to go to California. Now the Californians want to become Okies. Personally, I wouldn’t want either state, California because of all its corruption and lousy govt., Oklahoma because it’s too hot and dry and prone to tornadoes. And we don’t need more liberal Californians moving up to eastern Wash., N. Idaho and western Montana either. I love San Diego because of my time in the Navy down there in the 70’s but I couldn’t afford to live there. It’s time to bring back the old slogan of “Don’t Californicate America.”
They are universally despised for what they’ve done to TN (along with their inbred cousins from Michigan)… Fix ypur own damned state if theres so many of you ‘normal people’ living there. All the one’s I’ve met are Looney Tunes.
Liberals will still vote liberal so they’ll eventually end any sort of test.
The covid shutdowns brought thousands to Maine from NY, MA, NJ, etc to escape crowded cities. They just about finished off our state with their blind devotion to voting D.
NH is in trouble now too for the same reasons.

Try discussing the fundamental differences between “community” and “Communism” with today’s Leftist, Progressive, Liberal Democrat.
