The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned a lower court decision on Friday, ruling that mail ballots must have the correct date on them to be counted.
Last month, a lower court ruled that the commonwealth cannot throw out mail-in ballots just because they have incorrect handwritten dates on the envelopes.
The decision was tossed out by Pennsylvania’s highest court on Friday, after the Republican National Committee and Pennsylvania GOP appealed, arguing that not all of the counties were included as plaintiffs in the original lawsuit. The ruling was made on jurisdictional grounds, not the merits of the case. more
How about… Oh, I don’t know… Maybe the name of an actual eligible voter on it too?
How hard is it to put the same date on them… especialy when they’re tipped off that that’s what they’re looking for!!
Nothing to fear. It has to be dated with an official Postmark and because the Postal Service is a trusted entity of the Federal Governme………..Oh Shit!!!
Wasn’t that the same court that said anything goes last time?
I thought that constitutionally the state legislature made the rules.
yt-supremacy! requiring anything to be accurate/correct & on time. we have to de-colonize this! says any ghettopotamus.
So it will take weeks to ‘count’ all the ballots because the cheaters will have to fix the dates.
