Package Explodes At New York Prison Guard’s Home

FLOYD, N.Y. (AP) — A suspicious package left by a prison guard’s mailbox exploded and seriously burned him when he opened it, authorities said Sunday as they worked to determine who sent it and why.

The 52-year-old officer was severely injured, Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo said, in an explosion that stunned the small central New York town of Floyd. Cuomo called the blast “horrific,” and local, state and federal agencies were investigating and trying to determine whether the blast was related to the victim’s work.  MORE

  1. The man is a Prison Guard. Duh! Is it related to his work?
Where the hell is Sherlock Holmes?
Now the question is are all packages left by UPS,Fed Ex, at our front doors going to require that we call the police?
The bad guys are winning folks and our Shititocracy can’t
    handle it

  2. @Moetom – yeah, Sherlock left this one for his cleaning lady. Let’s see if this special delivery form of murder is applied to other law enforcement personnel. If this is an attempt by Islamic inmates to spread fear among prison guards you can depend on Gov. Angie Cuomo to bury it. He’s too busy shielding his ass from US attorney Preet Bharara’s fire.

  3. @Sig94:

Cuomo is also devoting himself to “eradicating civil rights violations against transgenders.”

God forbid he should do something that would benefit ALL New Yorkers, such as bringing jobs to the state, repairing our ridges and highways, or paying down the debt that is choking us all.
