An investigation by journalist Sue Pascoe reveals that millions raised during the celebrity-packed FireAid concert may not be reaching wildfire victims. Despite $100M raised, Pascoe says many affected families have received nothing.
SNIP: The money was handled by the non-profit Annenberg Foundation.
[You have got to be kidding me!]
You can look them up for yourselves.

Well, they’re democrats…did you expect some other outcome?
It went where it always goes. The only residents who have seen a dime are connected. The rest is siphoned off and diverted to Democrats.
Is she related to Hilary?
Sue Pascoe is a friend, was a Sunday School teacher at my old church and 3 great kids who are adults now. Her home was a block from Palisades High School, it burned in January.
She isn’t overtly political but I would say is fairly conservative. She is a good journalist.
I will add that after the November 2018 Woolsey Fire in Malibu there were many local fundraisers. I don’t know how all of them got aid to those affected by the fire, but the one I assisted with raised a few thousand dollars, 100% of which went to a short list of homeowners who had lost everything.
I’m sure to the leftist in charge of the money, it’s worthwhile sacrifice that the victims should be honored to have made on their behalf.
Come on now, someone in the foundation needed funds for a wedding, donchaknow!
Very sad for the people living through this nightmare
THE LATEST IS THAT SQUATTERS ARE NOW SETTING UP CAMP ON PROPERTIES, USING THE ADDRESSES AS THEIR OWN, AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEM OUT IS THRU THE COURT
HIT UPON HIT
Used to wonder about the “Annenberg Foundation” because the only times I heard the name it was because they had provided a “Grant” to PBS for a program I had just seen.
Not at all surprised by this. The “performers” were able to virtue signal and the non-profits will be the recipients of the bulk, if not all, of the money. That’s what really matters to these people.
Bureaucrats have no shame, just an agenda. What good is fire insurance (if you can get it?) High density, low income housing coming at $1million ea.
