MSN: The parents of the Nebraska boy who was killed by an alligator at Walt Disney World will not sue the company for his death, they announced Wednesday.
Matt and Melissa Graves, whose 2-year-old Lane was dragged to his death at the Orlando resort, said they will “solely be focused on the future health of our family and will not be pursuing a lawsuit against Disney.”
The parents’ joint statement did not say if they received any settlement cash from Disney, and did not cite a specific reason for declining legal action. more
Disney will “continue to provide ongoing support for the family…”
That muffled whimpering sound you hear is a cadre of lawyers crying over lost fees in the Enchanted Tiki Room.
They get free Jungle Cruise rides from now on…
Too soon?
This kind of news we don’t read often enough. Condolences to the family, though.
Sounds like somebody won the Publisher’s Clearing House $5000-A-Week-Forever Sweepstakes.
I cannot even imagine losing a child.
19.3 trillion$ 400 quadrillion$
means jack-crap when you lose a child
who God knew his/her name before they were born…
screw a bunch of filthy, greedy satanic sue-me-sue-you lawyers.
And that’s how you know that money has been exchanged.
Plus a free pair of alligator shoes, probably.
(Yeah, I know – too soon. Definitely too soon…)
😇
Gator Bits! I love breakfast!
Disney gave then more money that ten bookkeepers could count. And good for them.
Than
should this even be in the news?
No matter how much money they give the family. They need to be brought up on charges of criminal neglect. They deliberately ordered their people “cult” to ignore and further lie about the presence of alligators.
They have the money. YES they could have fenced all their areas well enough to keep the flucking things out.
Obviously, the parents aren’t Democrats.
Not suing? Because they knew they’d lose for child neglect for not keeping their child out of a known hazardous zone.
The healthiest way to live is accept tragedy, errors, and all the other bad stuff that sometimes happens, put it behind you and move forward. No amount of money can really alieve the pain of losing a child but rather the fight just keeps the pain fresh and new. Life is hard and unfair sometimes. Some people understand this.
God bless and help this family.
“In addition to the foundation, we will solely be focused on the future health of our family and will not be pursuing a lawsuit against Disney,” the parents said.
