Republic:  Parents of toddler who OD’d on pills twice in week arrested.

MARION, Ohio — Police in Ohio say the parents of an 18-month-old girl who overdosed on a painkiller twice in one week have been arrested on charges of child endangering.

Marion police Maj. Jay McDonald tells The Marion Star that the child apparently was able to find and consume Percocet pills in both cases.  more

  1. In New York State, child neglect and abuse cases are heard in Family Court. I frequently have to cross-reference these cases when I am screening for guardianship, custody, and visitation cases. I can tell you substance abuse is far and away the most common allegation cited in petitions against the parties legally responsible for the abuse/neglect of the subject children.
