GP: This marks the latest disaster for Boeing after a wheel fell off one of their planes mid-flight and another skidded off the runway just last week.
As Newsweek noted, a spokesperson for the Chilean airline LATAM told news outlets that a “technical problem” on the flight had harmed passengers and crew members. The airline also claimed the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner experienced a “strong movement” but refused to elaborate.
The airplane was traveling from Sydney, Australia, to Auckland, New Zealand, when the turbulence hit. more
A planeload of people were flying from Australia to New Zealand on a Chilean airliner. Boy, those must have been super cheap tickets.
Reminds me of some submariner who didn’t want to hire old white people to do his engineering and mechanical work.
Pilot having an “unexpected” event?
Hell, i wish we could stick to 707’s & DC-3’s.
ANN-A-LOG & boring ole Honkies driving them
Just sayen. There are outside forces trying to destroy Boeing. Their management may be whacked as hell. But they still need to comply to internal quality specs and processes established over the years and FAA over site. To me, this smells.
That’s it! From now on, I’m only flying on White Nationalist Airlines.

…Seems legit.
I’m sure Congress can throw an extra $50 BILLION at the problem.
Just like the fake chip shortage.
Fake problem, throw money at it.
Dr. Hambone, damn straight! HAA!
It seems to me you have to interview everybody these days.
“How does an aeroplane actually fly?
“Sheeiit! Mufukka! Go in da air, and shit. Yo.”
“Like, like, like like like like like like…”
I’m not quite convinced.
I sat at the DMV in MO for 2 hours today. In MO. IN MO. RURAL MO. More cows than humans, RURAL MO. And some skunt, she was probably a nice person, had no SSN.
Talk about a Ford wrench in the gears.
I’ve noticed that any airline mishaps, regardless of the cause, that occur in a Boeing aircraft are now breathlessly reported by the media. This story is obviously pilot error, but blame the Boeing aircraft anyway.
I agree Tony R. How the hell can Boeing take the rap for a wheel falling off? The airline has been in charge of maintenance on the plane for a while, and has likely changed the wheel multiple times since taking ownership. If the wheel fell off of my 20 year old GMC, I’d want to know who last put the wheel on the truck.
DEI hire?
Is Boeing at fault? If Ford sells you a car and you fuck it up is it Ford’s fault? Not sure where Boeing liability ends and owner liability begins in some of these cases.
A friend here in Charleston has the unenviable job of test-flying all brand-new 787s. Scary to think that assembly might be getting less consistent.

“More cows than humans”
No problem, we intend to get rid of both.
I never take my seat belt off in a plane.
Nor my shoes like John McClane.
Anything that moves can move suddenly, and besides, if the plane wrecks I want the part with the wallet in it still strapped to the seat for easy ID for my family…
When the media has been told to focus on something they do their job.
The good example is three wheeler ATVs, and how the media focused on them every night years ago.
AJ, those are called ATCs.
I’m telling ya, the WEF won’t have to ban air travel once everyone becomes too scared to fly.
When on a plane wear your seat belt. That is all.
Now that gun manufacturers can be sued for what happens when a gang banger fires off 30 rounds I guess Boeing makes an easy target as well.
Alexb,
and REAL shoes like SNS says.
Flip Flops are for Imbeciles: Driving, Motorcycles, Public etc.
I always tell my wife & daughter,” Wear laced shoes just in case you have to kick a perverts balls so hard that they fly out of the top of their head!”
Cheers SNS!
that probably has nothing to do with the plane or manufacturer. it’s turbulence. nice job piling on Boeing aholes.
if it ain’t Boeing, I ain’t going.
