PAT ROBERTSON, IT’S TIME TO GO BACK TO THE HOME!

AWD-

AWD has never liked or trusted preachers. Especially preachers with gazillions of dollars taken from dump old people who believe their donations are doing good when, in reality, they are going to build palaces for the con artists who call themselves “Men of God.” Hell has a special place for those hucksters and charlatans who make their livings off of the Social Security checks of old, naive women!

pat robertson

Enter the venerable Pat Robertson. I’ve always wanted to give that grinning jackass a slap. Guys like him make Christians look like idiots. Robertson always seems to have a stupid talking point or quote after every major event.

Here’s his latest stupidity (from HuffPo…I won’t link to that sh*t):

“Most gays, if they’re having a wedding, don’t want pizzas — they want cake,” Robertson told “700 Club” viewers, according to Right Wing Watch. “It’s the cake-makers that are having a problem.”

Still, he warned Christian business owners of all types that gay customers will eventually “make you conform to them.”

“You’re gonna say that you like anal sex, you like oral sex, you like bestiality,” he added. “Sooner or later, you’re going to have to conform your religious beliefs to the group of some abhorrent thing. It won’t stop at homosexuality.”

Robertson might want to consider in his pea-brain that many straight Christians like the sexual practices listed above, except the bestiality part! Ahem.

And if Christian bakers don’t want to make cakes for gay weddings, they should open a pizzaria! Well, didn’t one already get run out of business in Indiana for saying they wouldn’t cater a gay wedding?  more

  1. Eddie: If only I had that money Catherine and I gave to that TV preacher who was screwin’ that hockey player.
    Clark: What about the kids?
Eddie: His kids can fend for themselves.

  2. I probably have sounder reasons than most to dislike the man but I *think* what his marble-shy elderly brain was trying to say was, all will have to affirm the “naturalness” of any specific practice the sodomites demand be affirmed, whether the forced affirmees engage in them or not. It won’t be enough to simply remain silent — you’ll have to applaud anything and everything the sodomites want applauded (that’s how they drown out their own defiled consciences). Kinda like when the men of Sodom were outraged that Lot – as far gone as he was – dared to stand in the way of their desire to gang rape the strangers. Since we’ve now arrived at the point in our society where literally nothing is impossible anymore, he may well have a point (blind squirrel, stopped clock, etc). I seriously doubt he meant anyone would be personally forced to thus engage.

Should he disappear from TV forever? Absolutely yes. He’s at least 10 years too late for it.

  3. I hate thieves, liars and queers, and I like Pat Robertson. He never stole money from anybody. All of CBN’s finances are open for public review, and they have a good rating with ministry watch.

Pat blesses Israel, and so he is blessed. He’s 85 years old, give him a break. Robertson’s Operation Blessing International has a 5 star rating.

And I watch CBN Newswatch every day — the best news program on tv.

You are barking up the wrong tree white dude. You must be thinking about TBN. There are a lot of false prophets, but Pat Robertson is not one of them.

CBN is one of the largest television ministries in the world.

Now go burn a koran and say some hail Mary’s.

  4. Growing up, the The 700 Club was a TV staple in our house. My parents became born again Christians when I was about 8 or 9. My dad was no dummy (neither is my mom – but she IS gullible) and he liked and respected Pat Robertson. A lot of what Mr. Robertson says, I suspect, gets taken out of context, but he sticks to following the Bible vs. Olsteen, who says parts of the Bible are wrong because they don’t conform to today’s pro gay stance. AWD might not like Robertson’s comments – but he shouldn’t lump him in with the heretics of the world.

  5. AWD, love you most of the time, but disagree on this. The Bible warns of talking against men of God. He knows His own and will weed out the heretics. I don’t put Robertson in the same category as TBN.

  6. IMHO, all televangelists are in it for the money – religion for sale. No exceptions.
Well, maybe Joel Osteen, and that’s only because he doesn’t really do religion. He preaches the Power of Positive Thinking.

    Whatever makes you rich, though,
    I suppose…
