Almost all the professional commenters thought Rory would win. I was rooting for either Reed or Fowler. A lot of players came from quite a bit back to make great showings. Hole in one, eagles. It was a fun tournament.

Fowler has been second in a lot of major tournaments; I was hoping he would win this one.

Lots of fun watching the last round, Reed held up very well under the back nine. 4th round of the back nine is the most intense round of golf if you are in the hunt for the green jacket any of these guys play all year. I was rooting for Rickey.

I love all the young guys coming up, it looks like a changing of the guard and they will be hard to beat.

If you have ever seen the spirit that Patrick Reed shows for the USA you would be happy he won. Jordan Spieth and Ricky Fowler are two guys I really like as well. Rory McIlroy is a chump. I’m glad he lost, I don’t even like the way he walks.

Patrick Reed, Praise him, Bless him. He had a great four days of golf, where everything clicked. Years ago I had one day like that, where everything clicked, and I could do no wrong. I broke 80. I shot a 79. My handicap went from 16 to 12. Just like that. At a 12 I started losing bets at every game ’cause I couldn’t break 90. Got my ass kicked. I was no 12. I just had a good day that day. It had nothing to do with white privilege or anything like that, it just happened. I had one great game. I also had an eagle Spook Rock 2nd, and a hole in one, Spook Rock 13 , But I don’t play the game anymore.
But still love it / Congrats to Patrick Reed.

I would really like to see golf more popular than it is. Tennis too. Individual sports, one on one competition, and the pressure of having it all on you is great! This was a good Masters Tournamen! That’s also what I like about boxing and wrestling, and UFC, it requires individual performance. But I don’t need to see a golfer take on a wrestler, can you imagine the humiliation of the wrestler having to tap out?

@joe6pak, I saw an interview and read some with Rory McIlroy. He’s kind of a dick. I liked him before he opened his mouth. Even in the pre match interviews he kept saying Reed had the pressure and he would have an easier time of it. Ha.

I know the sports books made an absolute KILLING on all of the SUCKERS that bet on Tiger.
There was NO WAY IN HELL Tiger was going to be close to competing in this years Masters.
I only regret that I couldn’t get in on that $$$ action.
Hell, they even lowered his odds and fools were still betting on Tiger.
Between Rory, Tiger, and a tree stump, the tree stump has the better personality.
