“He’s failed to put America’s security and American jobs first. I’ve had it. We’ve all had it,” said Mr. Nehlen, a successful executive, entrepreneur and inventor who previously donated to Mr. Ryan’s campaigns.

  1. I live and vote in Ryan’s district and have been bitterly disappointed in him. I contact his office before key votes and get sporadic generic responses. I think Nehlen could win with one issue — illegal immigration — if he pushes it hard. Look where it has gotten Trump and Brat. We are screaming out here and Washington is simply NOT listening.

  2. I’m all for replacing Ryan. If this guy is the real deal I’ll send some money to him. Ryan has been a big disappointment and I don’t see him getting the 2017 budget fight where it should be.

These guys in leadership need to grow a pair and listen to the people’s will. Go Nehlen Go!

  3. LFD – August 9th is the WI Partisan Primary for Congress and Senate for the General in Nov. Someone posted something the other day (maybe a diff site) that Ryan’s seat was in next week’s primary. I had replied sarcastically it would have to be a write-in for next week, ballots are already printed.

  4. He’s cautiously mentioned Cruz and Trump as daring to challenge the establishment. I wonder which he finds more like himself. I did my $10 (from CA & IL). I wonder if Trump or Cruz would comment on his challenge to Ryan. My guess?…TBD. WI has different polls for different zones–rural vs urban. Only just learned of Paul L. and find him refreshing…like Trump. Cruz, I feel, has a comparatively short resume that only highlights his political ambitions. Trump’s resume is private sector productivity, with his only incursions into politics in his decades of recommendations to commission hearings to get “right with the country’s financial needs, industry, trade and borders”.
