Gateway Pundit: Vice President Mike Pence “welcomes” the challenge of electors by House and Senate Republicans, according to a statement by his Chief of Staff Marc Short reported Saturday evening by Axios’ Jonathan Swan, who posted the statement to Twitter. Pence will preside over Wednesday’s joint session of Congress to certify the Electoral College vote. Pence successfully fought off a suit this week brought by Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) that sough to nullify part of the 1887 Electoral Count Act so that Pence could exercise authority to accept or reject Electoral College votes rather than the largely procedural role spelled out in the act. more

  2. This is the week. We either survive as a constitutional republic or we disassemble into a failed group of peasants fighting over scraps left to us by the ruling class.

    We stand on the precipice between a free America and a jumble of competing grievance groups competing for supremacy.
    Today. Not yesterday we must notify our temporarily elected hand shaking, glad handing Republicans that supposedly represent us, that this week is it.
    If you can’t contest this fraudulent election full throatedly, unabashed and without fear…
    don’t bother counting on my presence at the ballot box henceforth.

    I’ll be busy. Building an economy that is more speakeasy than tax paying. We can rebuild the fun world of restaurants and bars, haircuts and bikini waxes WITHOUT YOU.

    FIGHT FOR US NOW. Or become irrelevant for life.

    If you sit idly by, as an elected official (by the people) and don’t even put up a fight?

    I urge everyone to contact their congresscritters and senators THIS WEEK.

    Just by the way. Nancy Pelosi’s $600 congressional benevolence divided by 365 days of a year equals $1.64 per day.

    Get in your senators and congressmen’s faces and DEMAND a real and full accounting of the vote.

    But you have to do it THIS WEEK. Or it’s over.

  3. PHenry, please stop talking like we must throw in the towel if it doesn’t go the right way.
    We are under NO obligation to accept this. This is the week we see if there is a peaceful way through this madness.

  5. I know of the battle of Athens @danknowles. I still wish for a peaceful outcome. If not? We’ll have to cross that bridge.

    In the meantime it is our job as citizens to put heavy pressure on our elected officials.
