Pentagon Faces Class-Action Lawsuit Over Vaccine Mandates on Military, Federal Employees and Contractors

Epoch Times: Service members from all five branches of the U.S. military, federal employees, and federal civilian contractors have joined in a class-action lawsuit against the Department of Defense over its COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The 24 plaintiffs “face a deadline under the Federal COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate to receive a COVID-19 vaccine that violates their sincerely held religious beliefs, and have been refused any religious exemption or accommodation,” according to Liberty Counsel, the Christian legal firm that filed the lawsuit.

The lawsuit (pdf), filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, lists President Joe Biden, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as defendants.

The plaintiffs are asking the court to issue a temporary restraining order (pdf) to prevent the COVID-19 vaccine mandates from taking effect, and ultimately issue an injunction to prevent the Pentagon from enforcing the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Biden on Sept. 9 issued an executive order requiring almost all federal employees to get a COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of employment. Regular testing isn’t an option. Civilian federal employees and contractors have until Nov. 22 to be fully vaccinated. MORE

  1. Click on “executive order” from the above. Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Contact Us”. From here you can message Joe the Resident of the United States via e-mail. My message suggestion is “Lets Go Brandon”.

  2. I wish the plaintiffs all the best but it may be too little, too late. My son is a DoD civilian employee and has already been forced to get the first jab in order to meet that Nov. 22 deadline for both. I suspect thousands of other military & civilian employees are in the same boat.

  3. The folks running Washington are not worth a drop of blood or your life. Time to walk away from fools who don’t care if you live or die, walk or run before they damage you beyond repair. Sorry my brothers and I ever fought for any of them or their worthless parents.

  4. The Pentagon was my campus for much of m MS degree from University Alf Southern California.
I started degree when I was stationed at Los Angeles AFS.
It certainly was a much more conservative campus than USC in L.A.
I was stationed at Andrews AFB. I would listen to dramatic readings of the Whitehouse recordings. That’s where I learned the term expletive deleted.
Interesting time to be in DC. VP Agnew resignation, appointment of Gerald Ford as VP, President Nixon resignation, inauguration of President Ford, and appointment of VP Rockefeller.
