Pentagon leaks suspect made ‘violent’ threats, US claims

IP:
A US airman accused of leaking top-secret documents had a history of making “violent” statements and owned numerous weapons, federal prosecutors alleged as a judge heard his request for bail Thursday.

The Justice Department also said that 21-year-old Jack Teixeira might still have access to classified documents and that “hostile” nations could aid his escape if he is released from prison.

They argued during a detention hearing in Worcester, Massachusetts that Teixeira poses “an ongoing risk” to America’s national security and that he should remain in jail until his trial.

Teixeira’s defense team said their client no longer had access to classified documents and claimed the government was exaggerating his threat to national security.

The Massachusetts judge hearing the case said he would rule on Teixeira’s request to be released pending trial at a later date.

The IT specialist with the US Air National Guard is accused of orchestrating the most damaging leak of US classified documents in a decade.

The documents posted online unveiled US concern over Ukraine’s military capacity against invading Russian forces, and showed Washington had apparently spied on allies Israel and South Korea.

  1. I suspect that Teixeira’s “violent statements” were along the lines of, “Hey, if you don’t share that pizza I’ll give you noogies! Now, gimme a slice!”

  2. I smell bullshit … lots of bullshit … piles of bullshit.
He let the cat out of the bag that Americans were surreptitiously fighting as ground troops in the Retarded Pedophile Usurper’s Ukraine money-laundering disaster.

We have a right to know where our Armed Forces are deployed.
We have a right to know when we’re being dragged into a quagmire – either against our will or despite our ignorance and apathy.

Aren’t “violent” statements protected by the First Amendment (depending upon the exact nature of those statements)?
And isn’t his ownership of weapons protected by the Second Amendment?

It appears that this is an assault on the Constitution – not a “spy” case.

    This is Persecution NOT Prosecution.

What a steaming pile of melodramatic bullshit. I’m surprised they haven’t found child porn on his computer. That probably comes next.

But you know what makes me feel like a violent extremist sometimes? The fact that dangerous, psychotic, deep state dickheads like John Brennan and Peter Strzok still have f—king security clearances and are walking around as free men.

  4. I call bullshit. This would be a UCMJ case and not a federal case with federal prosecutors. It would be an article 32 hearing then a Corps Martial. The powers that want to be are using federal court just like they have with the Jan 6 people who have been denied due process.

  5. Can anyone quote anything if significance that has come out of the FBI or DOJ in the last five years that hasn’t subsequently been discredited? They have no credibility with anyone except the naïve or just plain stupid.
