Pentagon says female military recruitment is up in all service branches

JTN: entagon officials on Tuesday said female military recruitment is up in all services in fiscal year 2025 so far, and military recruitment in general is ahead of schedule.

The Pentagon has not released detailed information on female recruitment in each service so far, but told Fox News approximately 7,260 more women have enlisted in the military this fiscal year than in the same period of the 2024 fiscal year. The number has increased from 16,725 in 2024 to 23,985 now.

“The media’s narrative that the female recruitment numbers have either fallen or stayed the same under [Defense] Secretary [Pete] Hegseth and President [Donald] Trump is 100% Fake News,” a defense official told the outlet. “Leadership matters and women are excited to serve under the strong leadership of Secretary Hegseth and President Trump.” more

  1. I don’t really care about female recruitment, and the fact that “a defense official” even addresses it publicly reaffirms that the tail is still wagging the dog, and that woke narratives, no matter how ridiculous or irrelevant, still percolate to the top.

A simple statement,”Recruiting in general among ALL demographics is up, just as we thought it would be. Americans are proud of their country and want to serve under a president who shares that pride”, would have been sufficient.

  2. Shows to go ya’. Even competent and qualified females are reluctant to sign onto a DEI infested woke bullshit shitshow. Now that that mess is being cleaned up… of course recruitment is up. What is more, that recruitment will be in areas in which women can perform and excel in based on merit.

  3. Didn’t Pete Hegseth say a while back that he would prefer women in support positions in the military rather then in combat?

I seem to remember him saying that the military should not have women in combat roles because it hasn’t made the military more effective or lethal, but just more complicated.

  4. This is good. As a former member of the USAF (back when it was the best branch of service), I’ve recommended military service to many young women in the past. I know that much of my success as a civilian — especially as a young woman in what was then a very male-dominated corporation/industry — I owe to my military training and that I was given many opportunities to learn and advance while serving.

  5. Truth be told there’s a shit load of stuff men do better than women. But at the same time there’s a shit load of stuff women do better than me. That’s my experience as a long time biz owner.
