NBC: The Philadelphia Ethics Board doled out a $62,000 fine to District Attorney Seth Williams (snip: DEM) for his failure to disclose five sources of income and 89 gifts, the board said in a statement Tuesday.
The fine is the largest in the board’s 10-year history and includes a first-of-its-kind recovery clause as well, the statement said.
$62,000 fine? I bet if he hurries, he can still get a last minute pardon for half that.
The DA said that he “”will work every day to earn back the trust and respect of all of you.”
Start by submitting your resignation.
Hmm, it would seem this announcement coming just after Philly was named rat capital of the US seems to indicate the biggest infestation is in city government and city hall.
If leftys are taking each other out it’s because they want to replace a weak performing rat with an aggressive and brutally mean younger rat who’s not so likely to make the kinds of mistakes that will get the new guy caught. 62 grand? Phhhhhht. A day’s take.
“Williams has been under investigation by the ethics board since August. He also has reportedly been under investigation by the FBI since September for a charitable foundation in his name.” Oh goody. Sounds like this is just getting started!
RAYCIsssssssssssss!
He will probably sell pardons or start a “child cancer victim” Go Fund Me page to pay the fine.
Yeah… sounds about right.
damned Shoobie!
