There was a doorman at a club in my hometown who took both barrels of 12 gauge 00 buckshot through the door. He was so obese the shot never penetrated his stomach fat. Any other person would have had multiple organs damaged and probably would have died.
Walking two miles with two shots in the hip? Walking would raise his blood pressure to the point where he’d look like TRF’s fountain.

CORRECTION:
The man was walking to the hospital in Philadelphia to visit his elderly grandfather and was shot 16 times along the way.
Tough neighborhood.
