A U.S. Navy fighter jet crashed into San Diego Bay on Wednesday, with the two pilots on board ejecting from the aircraft before being rescued by the Coast Guard.
San Diego Fire-Rescue officials said the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. in the water near Shelter Island. more
A witness said he heard engines (plural) cut out. I’m most curious to know what would cause BOTH engines to fail in that situation.
May we have the names of the pilots
@Uncle Al,
Likely Pilot Error. Such as: Loss of fuel due to misreading the aircraft release paperwork, or fuel gages, or hitting the wrong switch or circuit breaker…..
Hey, at least it’s not one of OURS!!!
They were rescued by fishermen that were close by, then transferred to the government vessel. Something shut down the fuel pumps.
Has anyone considered the possibility that the pilot, dealing with an emergency situation, put the plane in the drink in an effort to save lives?
Biden era fuel sensors that can’t be trusted to tell the truth!
