Pope Calls For Prayers Against ‘Great Accuser’ After Vigano Accuses Him Of Cover-Up Again

Pope Francis called for Catholic faithful to pray against the “Great Accuser” Saturday, two days after a former Vatican diplomat again accused him of cover-ups.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano issued a second letter Thursday, accusing Francis of “subtle slander” and renewing his allegation against Francis and at least 32 high ranking church officials of covering up sexual abuse allegations against former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick.

Francis urged Catholics on Saturday to pray for the church to be protected against attacks from Satan “who is always looking to divide us from God and from one another.”  more here

SNIP: Pope should spend more time defrocking and turning in dirty priests to the authorities instead of playing victim.

  1. Decades (and probably centuries) of cover-ups have cost the Catholic church billions of dollars and as many supporters finally, and Francis the talking mule still thinks they might get away with it.

  2. Maybe I don’t understand how this whole Christian religion thing works, but shouldn’t the Pope be praying FOR his attackers instead of AGAINST them?

    I mean, WWJD?

  3. His theme song should be A Friend Of The Devil Is A Friend Of Mine by the Grateful Dead or Sympathy For The Devil by the Rolling Stones. The real St. Francis is rolling over in his grave wanting and wanting to come back alive to renounce his views towards violence and passivity and kick francis the fake poop’s ass.

  4. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”

  5. I find it strange that the Pope can run his mouth like the flapper on a gooses ass about socialism global warming and world order but nary a peep out of corruption and immoral behavior from the clergy .
