It’s gotta be climate change. Either that or too many guns on the street. Obviously, the govt needs to DO SOMETHING.
Well I for one welcome their new Landslide overlords! California is finally sliding into the ocean.
Just read an article about a disabled verteran who was ticketed for “Liquid Littering.
His crime: Blowing bubbles for children.
Inquiring minds want to know:
Will these home owners get ticketed for littering the ocean with their homes?

If they can build skyscrapers on sprung suspension to mitigate earthquakes, they can build mansions on wheels so they can be moved back from the the erosion… or ideally all the way to Nevada!
No matter where you live, there is always something which can go wrong.
California has landslides and earthquakes, Florida has hurricanes. I live in Saskatchewan, the Canadian province above Montana and North Dakota. We get -40C Wind Chills in January/February and +40C in July/August. The rest of the time it is nice though, so there is that!
Nobody breathlessly reports on the homes that have slid off the bluffs in my neighborhood. Lol! A long section of road that runs along the bluffs above the ocean collapsed and has been blocked off for decades. It continues to crack and slip and there are many more homes affected with one hanging on to the edge. Their is an elderly woman living in that one(a tough-as-nails fellow conservative who has outlived some of her kids and husband). Also, there’s an old restaurant clinging to the bluffs next to her house. Luckily, our house is a block inland and is on a flat spot. Maybe we will be ocean front!
“If we don’t get help, eventually this place will be gone.”
Maybe buy some tent stakes and tie some ropes across the gap.
Maybe they shouldn’t have built there, in the first place.
Maybe a really big tractor to pull it back uphill.
Maybe your just F__ked and mother nature wins again.
Mendocino fracture zone – just wait
the pacific and central plates abide dudes
They’re probably not insured for this “act of God” so they should organize a *cough*cough* wildfire so they can collect fire insurance.
I saw yesterday that home owners insurance is almost impossible to get in Taxifornia. Build a mansion on a bluff over the ocean and see what happens.
Otisburg?!?
