I’m sure the rate in crease has nothing to with Chicago raising its minimum wage.
“The new ordinance, which takes effect July 1, 2015, passed by a vote of 44-5 and will increase the minimum wage in Chicago to $10 per hour from its current $8.25 per hour rate. The wage would increase to $11 per hour in 2017 and finally to $13 per hour in 2019.”
