President Trump Addressed The Military From MacDill Air Force Base

DailyCaller:

President Trump said America and its allies will defeat radical Islamic terrorism as he addressed the military on Monday.

As the president spoke from MacDill Air Force Base, which he called “quite a place,” he told military commanders that the country has their backs.

“Thank you very much,” Trump said as the audience applauded while he took the stage. “That’s so nice. A lot of spirit. We have tremendous spirit. We had a wonderful election, didn’t we?”

He then thanked several generals, commanders and Florida governor Rick Scott.

“Finally on behalf of the entire nation let me express our gratitude to the military,” Trump said. “We salute the Army, the Marine Corps, the Navy, the Air Force and the Coast Guard. As your president, I have no higher duty than to protect the American people.”

  1. One of our great submarine Admirals, probably one of the most
popular was VADM Konetzni. He’d come down to visit a boat and
a walk about, he didn’t give a shit about the officers or Chiefs.
He’d was down to thank all of the junior crew members and thank them
for their service. After he did the walk about, then he’d go to
the wardroom to talk business. The guy was inspirational.
Trump has some of that blood.

  2. reboot, I met Adm Koznetzni at a Sub Vets convention in Norfolk in 2012. It was easy to understand how he became known as Big Al the Sailor’s Pal. I’d have served under him in battle anytime!
