On Wednesday night President Trump signed a new presidential action titled: Ensuring Lawful Governance and Implementing the President’s “Department of Government Efficiency” Deregulatory Initiative.
The biggest news today should probably be about one of the Executive Orders from yesterday evening.

President Trump just authorized the DOGE Team to focus on “the deconstruction of the overbearing and burdensome administrative state.”

During the hannity interview Trump said he was shocked that so many of his EOs were not carried out. I assume he’s talking about bureaucrats and also his first term. I didn’t get to hear it all.

Every damn one of them (even Foxnews) had some so-called expert bemoaning the end of democracy and the lawlessness of Trump, with Chyrons running ,”Trump guts medicare”, “Trump undermines Zelensky and the peace process”, “Trump recklessly shaking up The Pentagon”, even ,”Trump betrays his overt racism by going after DEI”.
Sure, self-immolation by the media is always satisfying, but their ratings demand a change of course, they just can’t do it.
The Maine governor does have broad shoulders, more than most women. However, he’s not as muscular looking as Big Mike.

FOX news started pushing back about two weeks ago I think. Two days ago Shanon Bream had one Democrat after another on spouting how unlawful Trump was acting and how he had to be stopped at all costs. Same old FOX. Controlled opposition.

Another avenue of identifying discrete, “corporately captured” (think lobby protected) industries would be those which are under- or unregulated. Two such things come immediately to mind: drug advertising and the sound volume of YouTube advertising. For the latter, I remember the FCC fixed that problem in tee vee advertising. I suppose it doesn’t apply to the internets.
I saw a documentary a many years back about the regulations in place in the EU. At the time of the broadcast there were 35 pages of regulations associated with growing and selling a head of cabbage in the EU.
It’s a wonderful thing we have a president who is personally familiar with the effects of over-regulation.
