National Pulse
President Donald J. Trump has named a number of acting secretaries to oversee federal departments as he moves to swiftly enact the initial stages of his America First agenda. The acting officials are tasked with executing several hundred executive orders addressing national security, energy, and immigration issues—rolling back former President Joe Biden’s radical progressive agenda.
Already, the Trump White House has moved to shutter the controversial Department of Homeland Security (DHS) CBP One app, which the Biden government used to parole hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants into the United States. more
How about we just shutter the whole DHS and be rid of it.
@OldCoot — Yes! I like that idea. Unfortunately, DHS was set up in the same package as the FISC, so there’s a catch.
Catch-702
DOGE, of which Vivac has already bailed (that didn’t take long), is supposed to address these issues; separate the essential from the non-essential. For those departments that survive the first cut, launch an efficiency review to cut waste, eliminate redundancy, streamline operations, and review the salaries of every single government worker. It is the people’s money, not yours.
“DOGE, of which Vivac has already bailed”
Actually Elon said “Bye”. He wore out his welcome. Who didn’t see that coming?
There were several Federal Workers Unions filing suite against DOGE. And then Trump made them part of the executive branch. Woops. To funny. This is so much fun to watch right now.
Vivac as well, I guess he wants to be the next governor of Ohio.
